Wellbird FR// Indie Pop
A fake super-group bringing together Sammy Decoster, Jim Paillard (Erevan Tusk) & Nicolas Puaux (Narrow Terence) under the leadership of Alex Viudès – operating himself in each of the three mentioned projects – WELLBIRD is above all a matter of instinct. Betting on the good musical and human understanding of this beautiful team, the latter brings them together with the impetuous desire to record a good handful of songs reflecting these four personalities. A project “simple and fast, like those bands that we went up one night in adolescence”.
Lüt NO // Rock – Hard Rock
The Norwegian rock band LÜT has over the past year established themselves as one of Norway’s most exciting acts. With their unique, tight and energetic live-performance with the hallmarks of a hard-hitting soundscape and grand guitars, ending up as catchy melodic tunes, led to mainstream recognition. During Scandinavia’s biggest music-industry festival “by:Larm” in 2017, they were named one of the festival’s three highlighted bands alongside artists such as Sigrid, Julie Bergan and Cashmere Cat. After their 20+ dates festival tour last summer, the band’s highly anticipated their debut album “Pandion” which was released on October the 13th of 2017. LÜT was nominated for “The Best Liveact 2017” at P3Gull and at the Norwegian Grammy “Spellemann” for 2017’s best newcomer. The band is now working with new material for their next album.
Hangman’s Chair FR//Rock-Stoner
Hangman’s Chair is a french band created in 2009 that released 4 albums and 3 EP’s. The band has freed itself from the codes of a genre already widely explored and share their music, where despair, loneliness and violence mix beauty, fusional love and the other violence. With their EP’s : “This Is Not Supposed to Be Positive” in 2015 and “Sad Suburb” this year (released with MusicFearSatan label), the recognition of the press (Couv New Noise Magazine, France Inter, FIP, album of the week Canal +) is effective. And it comes with an international signature for “Tricky Suburbs” on the Spinefarm Records label, which will be released in September, in the rest of the world. This year, they have experienced international scene in majors festivals like: Roadburn, Hellfest, Download, Desertfest and the Great Escape.
Noisey made a cool article in the press for their last album’s release: “Like Kurt Cobain and Marylin Manson playing Perturbator and Gesaffelstein”. Really cool EBM live band, intense, they played already with Perturbator, Carpenter Brut, Skinny Puppy and Punish Yourself.
